Steps to Play Easter Games
1. Classic Easter Egg Hunt
- Stuff each plastic egg with toys, candies, or money.
- As an activity to be done before the event, hide the eggs around your yard or home.
- Provide a bag or basket for the participants to collect eggs.
- Set a timer (10-15 min.) and begin the hunt.
- Give away small prizes to the person who finds the most eggs or to the person who finds a golden egg.
2. Egg and Spoon Race
- It gives every player a spoon and a boiled egg (or a plastic one to be safe).
- Get someone to make a start and finish line in your yard or room.
- Players run as they carry the egg on the spoon without losing it.
- When the egg drops, the individuals have to start the process afresh.
- The closer the finish line, the person who is the first not to drop the egg wins the game.
3. Easter Bingo
- Prepare Easter-related bingo cards with things such as a basket, a chick, bunny.
- Divide cards and markers (or coins or candies will work as well).
- Pull out the items at random and out of a prepared list.
- Players put marks on the squares as objects are called.
- When a player fills in a line, he or she exclaims Bingo and is declared a winner.
4. Jelly Bean Guessing Game
- Put some jelly beans in a clear jar and count the number of jelly beans.
- Have slips of paper and writing pens ready on a table to make guesses on the jar.
- Every competitor will leave a slip with a guess and their name written on it.
- Near the end of the show, show the actual number.
- The nearest guess takes the jar or the special Easter prize.
5. Bunny Hop Sack Race
- Give the players big sacks or pillowcases.
- Paint the race area start and finish if it is not in a marked course area.
- The players will fall into the sacks throughout their journey.
- In case one falls, they have to get back into the sack.
- Cross the finish first, and get an Easter goodie.
